Inspired by a trip to New Orleans, this painting was commissioned for Louisville based restauranteur and dear friend.
A rainbow of colors was used to capture the pearl of the oyster shell. Fun fact: Salvador Dalí suggests adding a single bee to the oil before painting. I prefer not to take the life of a living thing so, I used the oyster shell depicted here to hold the oil it was painted with.
